Body-Boosting Broth Cubes
On the farm, I like to start my day with something warm, rich, and immune-boosting. So when my fridge is full of the odds and ends of veggies and herbs, I make these whole-body, immune-boosting broth cubes. Just drop a couple into hot water for an earthy, nourishing sip! Here’s why these ingredients made the cut:
- Mushrooms – A powerhouse for immunity, packed with antioxidants.
- Turmeric & Ginger – Anti-inflammatory wonders that help with digestion and joint health.
- Thyme – Known for its antibacterial properties, supporting respiratory health.
- Lemon Balm – Calming for the nerves and great for digestion.
- Garlic – A natural immune booster with antiviral and antibacterial benefits.
- Onions – High in antioxidants and support gut health.
- Olive Oil – Healthy fats for heart and brain health.
- Good Salt – Provides essential minerals and balances electrolytes.
Use whatever you have on hand in your kitchen, but try to be sure to get in plenty of mushrooms, a variety of herbs, garlic and onions.
This broth is perfect for bridging meals or adding a little extra warmth to my day, I hope you enjoy it too!
